Presentation modello for the lost altarpiece of Santa Caterina alla Ruota, Milan.

The final work is documented in eighteenth-century sources and disappeared in the twentieth century.

Identified by Luca Fiorentino, the painting represents one of the rare surviving coloured sketches by Lanzani, intended for presentation to a patron.
