The Fiorentino Cabinet

Where scholarship and the art market intersect.

From research, attribution and valuation to acquisition strategy, the Fiorentino Cabinet d’Expert advises private collectors, institutions, auction houses and galleries, combining art-historical expertise with direct knowledge of the market.

The work is guided by a precise principle: the quality of a work takes precedence over the renown of its author.

Each case develops through dialogue between specialists, with strict confidentiality maintained throughout.

Founded by Luca Fiorentino, the Cabinet specialises in Italian drawings and paintings from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century, working with internationally recognised art historians, conservators and advisors.

Areas of expertise

The Cabinet’s work spans research, attribution and advisory, with targeted input shaped by the requirements of each case.

About Luca fiorentino

Between research and scholarship

In the heart of Florence’s Oltrarno district, on Via San Niccolò, the Fiorentino Cabinet d’Expert was established as a space for study and dialogue, in the tradition of the European Cabinet d’Expert. Founded by Luca Fiorentino, an art historian with over twenty years of experience in the field of Old Masters, the Cabinet operates as a discreet and specialist structure focused on Italian drawings and paintings from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century, where scholarship and critical dialogue guide every case.
